RM's Primary ICT Seminars have attracted more than 700 Primary Teachers and ICT Coordinators over 34 regional events. Following on from this success, we are very pleased to announce the dates for the Autumn 2006 seminars in your area.

12.45 - 13.00	Welcome and reception
13.00 - 13.30	ICT News and updates Providing an insight into new and future technologies available to primary schools, this session covers updates for RM networks and information on a free 'network maintenance' reference pack and more. Also, due to popular demand we will demystify and explain the concept of learning platforms and the opportunities they bring for your school.
13.30 - 14.30	Buffet lunch followed by hands-on demonstrations
14.30 - 15.00	Introducing Windows® Vista™ What is the forthcoming operating system from Microsoft®? What does it mean for my school and for future network developments? We will be answering these questions in a session that explains and demonstrates the new functionality in Windows® Vista™ and shows the educational specific features that can enhance your lessons.
15.00 - 15.30	Tea/coffee and interactive, hands-on demonstrations
15.30 - 16.00	ICT across the curriculum Perhaps one of the most important considerations for ICT is to ensure that it is embedded and used effectively across the whole curriculum.  In this session we offer advice on independent learning, tips for enthusing your staff and we share best practice for every-day use of ICT within classes such as literacy, numeracy and MFL.
