|Some third party browser extensions and add-ons may interfere with how Internet Explorer views certain Web pages. They may also cause Internet Explorer to stop functioning or generate error messages.|
To disable third party browser extensions, carry out the following:
- Close any instances of Internet Explorer.
- Click Start, Control Panel.
- Double-click on Internet Options, or Network and Internet Connections, Internet Options if in Category view.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Untick the 'Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)' check box.
- Click Apply and then OK.
Please note that this procedure may remove toolbars such as the Google or Yahoo toolbar.
