PWR - The power LED will come on whenever the router is connected to a power source.
ACT - The Activity LED will blink when the router sees packets of data transmitted or received on the local network.
COL - The Collision LED blinks when the router sees packet collisions on the Local network ethernet interface.
WAN (or BRI) - The Wide Area Network LED has a number of different states:
It is off when there is a working ISDN line, but no active WAN session (ISDN call).
It is on solidly when there is an active WAN session.
It flashes either after a reboot until a connection attempt is made or if there has been a failed attempt to access the Internet. In the latter case there may be a cabling problem between the router and the ISDN wall socket or an ISDN fault.
CON - The Condition LED can come on briefly when you boot the Pipeline. The LED goes off when the system is fully tested. If the LED stays on solidly or intermittently after 90 seconds from booting, there is likely to be a hardware fault on the router.
