John Poulter - Chairman

John Poulter was appointed Chairman on May 1st 2013. He is also currently Executive Chairman of 4imprint Group plc. He is a former Chairman and former Chief Executive of Spectris plc, a former Non-Executive Chairman of Filtronic plc, a former Non-Executive Chairman of Hampson Industries plc and former Non-Executive Director of RAC plc and Kidde plc.

Lord Adonis - Independent Non-Executive Director

Andrew Adonis joined the RM Board on October 1, 2011. He served 12 years in government as a Minister and special adviser. He was Secretary of State for Transport, Minister for Schools, Head of the No.10 Policy Unit, and senior No. 10 adviser on education, public services and constitutional reform. He pioneered key public service reforms including the Academy programme, which established over 200 independent state schools to replace failing secondary schools, Teach First, a scheme for attracting top graduates into state school teaching, the radical university tuition fees and grants reform of 2004, and the plan to develop a high-speed rail line from London to northern England and Scotland. Before joining government, Andrew was a journalist and academic focusing on public policy and constitutional analysis. He was Public Policy Editor of the Financial Times, and Fellow of Nuffield College, Oxford, where he gained a PhD in modern political history. Andrew is Non-executive Director of Dods (Group) plc and Director of the Institute for Government . Andrew is also author of six books and has been a member of the House of Lords since 2005.

Deena Mattar - Independent Non-Executive Director

Deena Mattar joined the Board in June 2011 as a Non-Executive Director. Deena served as Group Finance Director of Kier Group plc from 2001 to 2010, having joined the Group in 1998 as Finance Director of Kier National. Prior to this she held senior positions at KPMG. She was also appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Invensys plc in May 2011.

Jo Connell DL - Independent Non-Executive Director

Jo Connell was appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director in December 2007. Until 2003, she was Managing Director of Xansa plc, the outsourcing and technology company, having served on the Board since 1991. She is a former Non-Executive Director of THUS plc and a former Non-Executive Director of Synstar plc. Jo is Chair of Governors and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire, Chairman of the Hospice of St Francis, and Deputy Master of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.

David Brooks - Chief Executive Officer

David Brooks joined RM Education as a graduate in 1991 and was appointed to the Board as a Director as Chief Officer on 1 July 2012, and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer on 1 March 2013. David has held a number of senior positions across different functions within the organisation. Before his appointment as Chief Operating Officer David was Managing Director of RM's Education Software Division. David has a degree in Computer Studies.

Ian McIntosh - Chief Financial Officer

Iain McIntosh FCA joined RM Education in November 2009 and was appointed to the Board as a Director in 1 April 2010. Before joining RM, he held senior finance positions in listed and unlisted companies, including CFO of Liberata (2001 - 2003), CFO of Alexander Mann Group (2004 - 2006) and, most recently, CFO of Axon (2006 - 2009). Iain initially qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then spent four years as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Co. Iain McIntosh has an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from New College Oxford.
