RM Window Box Licensing Explained

What are the licences valid for?

Licences for the RM Window Box Range are available for schools with RM Community Connect 3 or 4 School Networks.

What sort of licences do you have available?

To enable you to purchase the exact number of licences you require and to allow you to benefit from volume discounts, we have broken our licensing into three distinct bands :

  • 1 - 14 User Licences
  • 15 -29 User Licences
  • A 30 User Licence Pack

The 30 User Licence Deal is currently available for the following bundles:

  • RM Window Box Create Software Bundle
  • RM Window Box ICT Software Bundle
  • RM Window Box Infant Software Bundle
  • RM Window Box Textease Software Bundle
  • RM Window Box Clicker Software Bundle

In the case of the RM Window Box 2Simple Software Bundle, we are able to offer you a Site Licence, which is valid for an unlimited number of users.

What licences do I need?

If you are a First Time Buyer you will need to purchase the following:

  • One Installation Disc

    • (Please note that in the case of the Textease Bundle and the Clicker Bundle, one user licence is included with the Installation Disc)

  • The number of User Licences required

If you are an Existing User and wish to purchase additional licences, simply enter the number of licences you require. You do not need to buy an Installation Disc.

You will require a User Licence for each person using the software at any one time. So if there are 30 children using the software, then you need 30 User Licences.


How long is the licence valid?

Where a school is on the RM School Networks CC3 or CC4, as long as the school is on the network, the licences remain valid. Once a school leaves the network, the licences become invalid.

Do I still keep my licences if I upgrade from CC3 to CC4?

Yes you do. And when you upgrade, you automatically get the latest versions of all the software applications included in the Bundles you have purchased!
