Captivating and enjoyable challenges for pupils
i-nfer plan is split into assessment packs made up of a series of challenges for pupils. Each assessment pack covers units of the curriculum, with each unit consisting of a pair of e-assessments, also know as challenges.
Each challenge is designed to be last around 30 minutes and to be easily integrated into teachers' existing teaching plans. Challenges for Key Stage 1 and some of Key Stage 2 are voiced for the pupil.

Dynamic on-screen presentation in maths means that pointers really turn and symmetry can be demonstrated interactively.
Video and animation also bring a more realistic approach to science and the questions address enquiry skills as well as knowledge.
Reading challenges are based on high-quality, attractively presented, full-length texts, with questions ranging across QCA Assessment Focuses. |

A unified framework of thinking skills underpins all the challenges, helping to determine whether the learner has internalised the knowledge and is then able to apply it. Hints and feedback will also probe further into partial understandings.

Practical support for personalised learning in the classroom
The challenges are automatically marked and analysed online. We have designed our reporting website to be as easy to use as possible, allowing teacher to take advantage of the rich data that e-assessment makes available:
- Individual profiles for pupils highlighting their strengths and weaknesses.
- Unique formative profiles to group children to assist topic teaching.
- Recommended next steps and practical ideas to address specific needs.
- Evidence-based progress scores give a quick view of how a child or class has progressed.
- National Curriculum sub levels and levels and age standardised scores
- Formative and summative evaluation by individual, group, class and school.

How
is i-nfer plan sold?
i-nfer plan assessment packs are available for 1, 2 or 3 year subscriptions, for example Reading Lower Key Stage 2 for 1 year subscription - look at the Pricing tab for full details.
Purchasing an assessment pack gives you:
- Access to download the assessment content pack you have purchased. Each assessment content pack includes 12 challenges (a pre and a post-topic challenge for each unit).
- Access to i-nfer plan reporting website so teachers you set up in the software can view pupil results, reports and profiles.
With your first assessment pack purchase you should buy the Start-up Pack which allows you to install the i-nfer content bank through which teachers are set up, challenges are allocated to pupils and results are sent to the i-nfer plan reporting website.
