Calendar Option available
The collaborative nature of the RM EasyMail Plus Calendar Option makes it particularly fitting for use by your staff, although it is also suitable for student use.
- You can have a personal calendar, to keep a record of meetings and events.
- A task list, to keep track of important deadlines or activities.
- Colleagues can also share calendars, giving them access at a level you define. A policy of sharing calendars in an establishment can saves everyone's time: shared calendars allow meeting organisers to get arrangements 'right first time', since colleagues availability can be checked before the meeting invitation is sent.
- Your establishment can make better use of its facilities and equipment if you create 'resources' - e.g. the ICT Suite or the laptop trolley - using the administration account. These resources can be booked automatically by calendar users, giving the dual advantages of convenience for you and a reduced workload for support staff, who no longer have to manage booking forms.
- When you are invited to a meeting, the meeting request is send directly to your inbox. Then you can simply click a button to acknowledge to the sender that you plan to attend, and the meeting is automatically entered into your calendar.
The Calendar Option is available as an add-on module for the RM EasyMail Plus email service.
Easy to manage, cost effective email solution
RM EasyMail Plus is really easy to manage, creating a user account can take you less than 17 seconds!
- The administrative activity is applied through a web-based interface and updates occur within seconds.
- The interface is intuitive, and online help and frequently asked questions are provided to support both you, your administrator and your users.
- In addition to the domain administration role, you can also assign a password manager, who can change forgotten passwords when the administrator is unavailable.
- As a managed web-based service, you don't need to buy any additional hardware or software and you don't need to upgrade any existing equipment.
- You and your users can access the service from anywhere at any time.
- Set up all your users in one go, it would take ages to set up email accounts for all your pupils and staff. That's why our 'bulk create' feature allows hundreds of accounts to be set up, modified or deleted in one go, which saves massive amounts of time and effort. This is done from a straightforward .CSV file... very easy to create.
- You can also allocate users to groups e.g. pupils and staff. Changes to email settings, for example turning on or off banned word filtering, can be made to a group and all users in that group will inherit the change. Naturally this makes managing users much easier.
Flexible mailbox sizes
Some of your users will need more mailbox space than the supplied default of 20MB - for example, office staff or the senior management team.
- You can give individual users mailboxes of up to 100MB in size.
- The service, as standard, comes with a 100MB block of additional mailbox space that can be allocated to your users. This could be used to create four 45MB or two 70MB mailboxes.
- Further blocks of additional mailbox space can also be purchased.
