This service provides space on RM's centrally managed Web servers for you to publish your school's Web site.  You don't need all the expensive hardware, software and support - you just upload your site and let us deal with the rest.

When you order RM Web hosting, you'll need to decide whether to have your Web site hosted on a Windows® or Linux server. Whether you choose Windows® or Linux is solely dependent on your Web site development, eg if your site is built using ASP then you should choose a Windows® server, and if it uses PHP then you should choose a Linux server.

• FrontPage 2002 Extensions
  This is a 'what you see is what you get' HTML editor and Web site administration tool from Microsoft. As an HTML editor, FrontPage is designed to hide the details of HTML code from the user, making it possible for anyone to easily create Web sites.

  Allows you to add dynamic content to your Web site, such as a blog, online shop or content management system.
• ASP.NET
  A set of .NET classes used to create client-side and server-side applications.

What features and scripting do Linux servers support?

• PHP
  One of the most effective scripting languages to be found on the Internet. It offers a huge number of options. Just a few lines of PHP code can execute tasks which would be achieved with some difficulty in other languages.
