Product Overview
The new D-series Case is a robust and secure, full-height desktop case for systems that need quality audio output, firewire input, multiple optical drives or multiple hard drives. Typically, these are specialist Music PCs or broadcast quality Digital Video Editing PCs.
Designed for education, they are also robust, withstanding up to 11kg of force on the buttons and drives, with a special security bolt to fasten it to any prepared surface.

Important Information
D-Series Features
As this case designed purely for Education, RM has been able to incorporate lots of unique features, as suggested by teachers and students alike.
Robust
|
The front ports, buttons and blanking panels are "Finger Force" tested, and can withstand 11Kg (110N) of force or pressure.
This means there are less breakages, as the D-Series can withstand situations often damaging other cases, saving on both time and money in repair, replacement and downtime costs. |

The black and silver finish hides pen marks, scuffs and inked graffiti. The cases look tidier, and it saves time on cleaning the cases.
There are no flimsy fold-down port covers, drive covers, or proud standing lights which can be vulnerable to breakage. |

Secure
|
The case is lockable as standard, to prevent internal component theft.
The case also includes a Padlock Cable Trap to prevent mouse and keyboard theft.
These both save money and time, ensuring that the computer is useable at all times. |

A desk clamp option attaches to underside of the case and physically secures it through a hole in the desk, using a robust bolt. This stops the theft of the PC and allows peace of mind when left in unsupervised areas. |

Flexible
|
The case has front Firewire, USB and audio ports, for easy student access.
The ports are raised above keyboard height, so flash memory drives and other USB attachments don't foul on the keyboard.
There is room for up to two optical drives and two internal hard drives, making this a compact alternative case to the usual large Tower cases used for specialist video editing systems. |

The case can be mounted in both desktop or tower orientations the best and most convenient use of your space. Feet are provided as standard to stabilise the case in a tower orientation. |
