Hardware Support on Community ConnectHelping you make informed decisionsCustomers like you have told us that you sometimes find it difficult to understand what level of support there is for different hardware running Microsoft® Windows® operating systems on Community Connect™ networks. This makes it difficult for you to make informed decisions when you are looking at buying new hardware to add to your networks. To help you, we've defined 3 levels of support for all hardware that is available from RM to help you.
|
Fully Supported
Where you see the fully supported logo, this means that:
- The hardware is available as vanilla Microsoft Windows XP/Vista or CC3-Ready/CC4-Ready i.e. the network client software is available preinstalled on the hardware to facilitate quick and simple addition to your network.
- Hardware Support Packs (HSPs)/drivers are available or in development for this hardware allowing you to rebuild these stations as Community Connect 3 or Community Connect 4 clients.
- RM Support Contracts will cover support of this hardware and the process of adding it to your network.
