The RM ClassBoard

The RM ClassBoard2 is the high quality Interactive Whiteboard from RM.

Specifically designed to help collaboration in the classroom, this exciting addition to RM`s interactive whiteboard range allows two people to use the whiteboard at the same time, promoting group interactivity, communication or paired instruction between teacher and student.

Schools can choose to opperate in two modes:
- Split screen mode - divides the board in to 2 zones so the student/teacher can only control thier own area
- Sandbox mode - both users a simultaneously control the baord over the whole surface; great for grabbing objects or making notes.

The RM ClassBoard has a tough and robust surface that is designed specifically for the needs of a classroom. The hard surface protects the electronic grid that drives the ClassBoard. With two fast, responsive pens (one teacher and one student) allow a teacher and/or a pupil to easily control the contents and flow of a lesson at the same time.

Simple and easy to use with powerful classroom software
RM ClassBoard comes with easy-to-install software that you can launch simply from a menu of icons on the Board itself. The basic software, RM InterWrite, provides a comprehensive set of tools for delivering simple lessons and annotating within Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications. The ClassBoard also comes with Easiteach Starter 5 users s/w,  which will enable you to install Easiteach Starter on five computers.

You choose how you want to use it - as a dry marker board or an interactive resource
The RM ClassBoard now comes with two rechargeable pens. The pens carry left and right mouse buttons to make using the ClassBoard a breeze.  Along with the two pens, is a charger fixed to the side of the board for simple operation, and constant charging of one pen while the other is in use, and charging of both when the pens are not in operation.

Further to these there are option pens that can be purchased. The first is a 'Medium' interactive pen, which works with 'AAA', this pen may feel more confortable to some users.  The second is an interactive pen that runs on AA batteries, but in addition; houses a dry-wipe marker pen! In the absence of a projector this pen can be used to write notes on the board, which can be captured simultaneously on a computer or laptop.
