RM Connectivity
RM Education provides internet connectivity to over 8,000 schools. We use that scale to drive down the cost of individual connections, passing on the savings to schools. Our pricing, for our multiple connection types and speeds is fair and transparent, and our connections come with essential filtering and security services as standard.

Utileyes
RM Utileyes monitors your use of electricity, gas, water and fuel oil online in real time. This means you can see where wastage is occurring and take steps to save money and reduce your impact on the environment.

Integris
RM IntegrisG2 is a secure, web delivered school management system that allows staff to access pupil data and information from school or at home. There's need for a dedicated server to house your MIS data with RM IntegrisG2, and this provides a significant cost saving.

Managed Print
You can dramatically reduce the amount that you spending on printing every year. An RM managed print service comes with networked multi-function devices such as printers, scanners and copier devices. You can track exactly who's printing what in school and how much its costing, allowing you to monitor, manage and report on your school's printing outputs.

How did you calculate my savings?

Broadband

Based on: Typical Primary School spend of £5000 per year (10Mb synchronous service, 3 year term incl. set-up). Typical Secondary School of £10,000 per year (30Mb synchronous service, 3 year term incl. set-up). RM proposition personalised quote as of 12/12/11.

Utility/Energy Bills (Utileyes)

Based on: 2009-10 school energy and water spend (DfE data). Up to 15% saved. If data was not available from DfE source, average values were used based on school size.

Integris

Based on: 3 year non academy deal. Integris Pricing Incl: Student, Staff, Attendance, Behaviour, Assessment, Reporting to Parents, Census, School Workforce and other Statutory Returns, RM Intelligence, Analytics and Graphing, 100% Internet Access, Site Licence. SIMS Primary Pricing Incl: Student, Staff, Attendance, Behaviour, Assessment, Reporting to Parents, Census, School Workforce and other Statutory Returns, Discover, Internet Access via the Learning Gateway, Hardware (SIMS Local Authority pricing is a based on an average of 3 mid-sized LA SLA's which do not include FMS). SIMS Secondary Pricing Incl: Student, Staff, Attendance (not including Lesson Monitor at £4500), Behaviour, Assessment, Reporting to Parents, Census, School Workforce and other Statutory Returns, Discover, Internet Access via the Learning Gateway, Hardware (SIMS Local Authority pricing is a based on an average of 3 mid-sized LA SLA's which do not include FMS). If Academy, additional licence fee applies of approx. £7k for Primary, 16k for Secondary.

Managed Print

Based on: Typical Secondary School (1200 pupils) spend of £45377 per year (incl. current toner costs, paper costs, printer refresh costs) Secondary School RM Managed Print costs of £37442 (incl. leasing of all equipment, average figure of £50k for the solution, printing costs reduced as more double siding is available, rules within the software to reduce volume etc). Typical Primary School (400 pupils) spend of £13314 per year (incl. current toner costs, paper costs, printer refresh costs). Primary School RM Managed Print costs of £9258 (incl. leasing of all equipment, average figure of £12k for the solution, printing costs reduced as more double siding is available, rules within the software reduce volume etc).Existing costs for any outstanding printer/photocopier leases which will be replaced by the new equipment are not including is these figure. Hidden costs such as labour also not included.
