We are counting the days until BETT 2013! Starting on 30 January at its new home, ExCel in London’s Docklands, BETT is always an amazing showcase for technology in education. We can't wait to share our latest innovations, designed to help teachers and learners get the most out of their ICT.  We’re going to be right next to the new BETT Arena, so when you’ve heard your speakers speak, come and talk to us!

New year, new venue, new RM Education

Our stand this year is all about sharing our expertise, offering advice and showing how you can future proof your ICT. Need help navigating the Cloud? Come and see RM Unify in action; it’s your single sign on launch pad to the Cloud and it’s available for free. Want to find out whether ebooks could work in your school? Checking out RM Books (also free) is a great place to start. Considering 1:1 computing or just looking for some general ICT help? Whatever you need, we’ve got it covered and we will have teams of experts available to help you make the most of all the amazing opportunities technology has to offer.

We will also be showcasing the best in technology for education from leading brands including Microsoft, Apple and many more. Other features on this year’s stand include:

Classrooms of the Future

- an interactive future-gazing concept space where we look to the year 2020 and share our vision of what learning might look like at the end of the decade.  This has to be seen to be believed so don’t miss it.

Learn Live

– these CPD-accredited sessions will provide valuable insight into key topics like Cloud services, ebooks, using MIS data to drive school improvement and finding out how Apple hardware could work for you.  Click here to find out what’s happening when.

1:1 Computing

– if you’ve ever considered 1:1 computing (one device for each pupil and teacher) then there’s more than one way to do it – our experts can guide you by advising on what infrastructure you may need, which funding model is most appropriate and help select the right devices for your school including how you can harness pupil’s own devices through our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution.

Finally, we are delighted to have been shortlisted for two BETT awards this year. RM Intelligence, the software that makes sense of your MIS data and the new RM On-Site Support Service for primary schools, which plugs the gap that LA’s used to fill by offering improved ICT support services, have both been shortlisted. Fingers crossed for the big night!

We’ll bring your more news about what will be happening on the RM Education stand (C160 and C170) next week.  In the meantime you can register for BETT here.
