The initial three-year contract will see RM’s leading e-marking software used for marking Trinity’s globally recognised music and drama exams, enabling examiners to mark thousands of performance assessments each year entirely online.
RM’s cloud-based platform will allow assessors to securely assess videos of candidates’ performances in the platform. The advanced marking capabilities of the platform mean that performances can be examined across multiple piece-specific criteria, allowing for more nuanced marking and richer, personalised feedback for candidates. The platform also enables multiple students in the same video to be assessed independently.
This new customer win demonstrates the adaptability of RM’s e-marking platform, and its ability to serve the needs of a wide variety of assessment formats. As awarding bodies across the full range of subjects embrace the digital transition, RM’s digital marking and assessment technology empowers them to provide more efficient, inclusive and sophisticated learner experiences.
Trinity College London, established in 1872, is a leading international awarding organisation, publisher and independent education charity, specialising in the assessment of communicative and performance skills covering music, drama, combined arts and English language. Its assessments are taken in over 70 countries worldwide.
