RM Unify expands support for more MISs

Keeping pace with the rapid change in the MIS market, and responding to enquiries from our customers, we are very pleased to announce that RM Unify can now support schools who use the GO4schools and Compass MISs. Both are showing to be increasingly popular with schools looking for cheaper or more innovative MIS alternatives, with Compass reporting 200 schools onboarded in just under three years.

In addition RM Unify can also support Arbor MAT MIS. For this to be enabled we simply create you a separate RM Unify establishment to be used by your Trust, which can be connected to the Arbor MAT MIS to provision your Trust-level users.

Provisioning RM Unify accounts from your MIS ensures that your users retain access to apps, systems, and data only for as long as they are authorised. When users leave school or are taken off roll their accounts are deprovisioned automatically and their access is removed.

The full list of supported MISs:

  • Arbor inc Arbor MAT

  • Bromcom

  • Compass

  • ESS SIMS (inc SIMS Connected)

  • Facility CMIS

  • GO4Schools

  • Integris (end of life Feb 2026)

  • IRIS Ed:Gen

  • iSAMS by IRIS

  • Juniper Horizons

  • ScholarPack (end of life 2026)

  • SEEMiS Click and Go (for Glow schools in Scotland)

  • WCBS (on-premise)

And another useful reminder, if you are looking to move to a new MIS, please make sure to arrange the migration with us as soon as possible. More information can be found in my previous post: Maximising your MIS data.

I have worked at RM for over 25 years, mostly in technical support roles, but am now helping shape our software products for the future. I talk to customers and stakeholders about the problems they face, think about the solutions that could be provided, and then help prioritise those for release. Outside of work my dream day would involve cycling to a record store in a remote forest, followed by a Japanese meal with sake. Kampai!
