RM's Starflight Academy took pupils on a journey through space via four exciting lessons led by Mike Mongo, astronaut teacher, and supported by senior educationalists at RM. In 2025 the next chapter in SaxaVord Spaceport’s STEM programme launches as Fredo Mission Centre - where you'll be able to find the videos and lesson plans from RM Starflight Academy, plus much more.
Saxavord are also running a competition for your pupils to design a satellite! For your chance to win some great SaxaVord and Fredo merchandise, draw, build or digitally create a design and send these to fredo@shetlandspacecentre.com with a short description to explain what your satellite does and why it is important.
