Our APAC Director, Hans Moningka, will be attending EDUtech Asia as a delegate, joining peers from across the sector to discuss the practical questions behind digital transformation in education: how institutions adopt AI responsibly, how they balance innovation with trust, and how they design systems that work for real learners and educators.
Across the EDUtech Asia agenda, there is a clear focus on AI readiness, governance, pedagogy and sustainable change. Those themes matter in assessment too. As more institutions look at digital transformation, the question is rarely whether change is coming. The more useful question is how to make that change practical, trusted and sustainable.
That is where shared experience matters.
One example is our work with the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB). In partnership with RM, SEAB introduced on screen marking for national examinations, improving marking quality, security and efficiency. The programme helped bring all locally marked Singapore-Cambridge GCE-Level subjects and PSLE on screen, halved the number of teachers deployed for PSLE marking from 14,000 to about 7,000, and reduced PSLE marking from four days to three, cutting marking costs by 25%.
