From 23 June 2025, the globally trusted Oxford Placement Test from Oxford University Press (OUP) will be delivered by RM’s assessment platform, bringing major improvements to how the test is delivered and supported.

For over 15 years, the Oxford Placement Test has helped millions of students around the world identify their English level and find the right class –whether they’re joining a new institution or moving year group.

The move to RM’s assessment platform marks a significant upgrade. The test will feature refreshed graphics for a more modern, engaging experience, and for the first time, will be accessible not just on PCs but also on Macs, tablets, and mobile phones.

The platform unlocks a host of additional benefits:

• Faster innovation: OUP will be able to test and roll out new items and features more easily
• Accessibility enhancements: Students can adjust the screen display settings during the test
• Updated user interface: Easier, cleaner navigation provides a more seamless testing experience
• Improved test guidance: Timed tasks and an on-screen timer help students stay on track.
