RM, the global EdTech, digital learning and assessment solutions provider, has renewed its partnership with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (“ICAP”), extending their use of cloud-based digital assessment tools to August 2027.
ICAP has been working with RM since 2018, when it first adopted RM’s e-marking platform to mark candidates’ professional accountancy exams. In 2020, ICAP also implemented RM’s learner assessment portal enabling candidates to sit exams online, accelerating its digital transformation. Throughout this partnership, RM has provided guidance on how to move from paper assessment to digital.
ICAP’s move towards digital assessment has already delivered significant benefits for candidates, and with 100% of advanced level candidates to sit exams digitally or remotely, the platform offers greater flexibility on the location of where they can sit exams.
Additionally, RM has enabled ICAP to incorporate a variety of question types in their exams and has provided the capacity to conduct concurrent exams for thousands of students. This transformation is central to ICAP’s ambition to align accountancy examinations with the skills needed in today’s professional environment and to expand its global membership.
“We are delighted to be extending our long-standing partnership with ICAP as we support them in the next phase of their journey. Since 2018, we have worked closely together to deliver secure, scalable, and flexible digital assessment, enabling ICAP to future proof its examinations and provide the best possible experience for its candidates. This contract is an important step for both parties.”
