You are here: School Priorities - Personalised Learning
Personalised Learning
Personalising learning means taking a structured and responsive approach to each child's learning, so that all pupils are able to progress, achieve and participate. New technologies contribute greatly to personalising learning by influencing what, how and why children learn.
Here we look at the technologies that can support five key areas associated with personalised learning - teaching and learning, choice, assessment, school organision and partnerships. These five elements naturally link and overlap but the structure may help when considering how ICT can support your personalised learning agenda.
Technology really can open up new ways of meeting the needs of all children and young people and raise attainment for all.
Assessment for Learning

Partnerships beyond the school
Engaging with parents and the community to provide individual opportunities and support.
Teaching and Learning
Teaching and learning strategies that are varied, appropriate and exploit new technologies.
Choice
Technology offers flexibility, mobility, accessibility and freedom from constraints.
