Digital books and learning materials make sense on many levels. Physical books have an obvious shelf-life: they get torn, broken and defaced – and they can get out-of-date very quickly. Not only do students read more when books are in digital form, but their reading ability is shooting up, according to school heads.

RM Books makes e-books easily available to schools, and they’re proving a big hit, as Sarah Lockett reports in this four-minute video featuring Victoria Park Primary Academy and their transition project to help pupils move up to Shireland Collegiate Academy.
