If your school has recently migrated from Easymail to either Office 365 Outlook or Gmail from G Suite then you will now have access to a host of new resources and opportunities made possible by the cloud platform you've chosen and the identity management tool, RM Unify. In order to make sure you are getting the most out of all of the new features available to you, we have put together some useful information to help you to get started.
Both platforms come with anytime, anywhere access to a great range of tools that can encourage greater collaboration and enable better communication between pupils and teachers. Here you will find some useful links to help your school to get started.
What is RM Unify?
RM Unify is an online platform that makes it simpler to set up, access and manage cloud-based content and data. RM Unify automatically creates staff and pupils’ user accounts from your MIS or Active Directory direct into G Suite and can be managed via one easy-to-use management console.
Identity and access management
RM Unify provides a seamless way to manage the roles within your school by enabling intelligent access to resources based on permissions set for each; parent, governor, teacher and pupil. In addition, with RM Unify MIS sync enabled you are also able to automatically sync teaching groups, year groups and registration groups in to Google Classrooms, saving hours of administration time.
Staff and pupils need to login just once with one username and password to access all of their resources in one place. Each student and teacher within a school gets their own Launch Pad with access to online tools and resources.
